01

Consultation & Brief

Every great label starts with understanding your brand. When you reach out to us — whether through WhatsApp, email, or phone — our team begins by learning about your business. We discuss your industry (school uniforms, fashion apparel, corporate wear, etc.), your target audience, and the specific purpose of the label. Are you looking for a main brand label, a care label, a size tag, or a decorative woven patch? Each has different requirements.

During this stage, we also advise on the best label type for your application. For example, damask labels are ideal for high-detail logos with fine text, while satin labels work better for soft luxury garments where comfort against skin matters. We share reference samples and provide guidance on dimensions, fold types, and thread colour options — all before any design work begins.

02

Artwork Preparation & Optimization

Once we understand your requirements, our design team works on preparing your artwork for weaving. If you have a ready logo in vector format (SVG, AI, PDF, or EPS), we optimize it for the woven medium — adjusting line weights, simplifying gradients into solid thread colours, and ensuring text remains legible at the target size.

If you don't have a vector file, that's perfectly fine. Many of our clients start with just a rough sketch, a photograph of an existing label, or even a description of what they want. Our designers recreate the artwork from scratch, producing a clean, weave-ready design. We typically deliver 2-3 design options within 24-48 hours, and you get unlimited revisions until the artwork is exactly right.

03

Digital Preview & Approval

Before committing to production, we want you to see exactly what your label will look like. Our free online preview tool generates a realistic digital mockup, showing your label placed on the type of garment it's intended for — whether that's a school blazer, a polo shirt collar, or the inside of a cap.

This step eliminates the guesswork that often leads to costly reprints. You can experiment with different garment colours, label placements (front, back, sleeve, collar), and see the label at actual size. Once you approve the preview, we lock the design and move to production. No changes can be made after this point, which is why we invest heavily in getting this step right.

04

Digitizing for the Loom

This is where the magic happens behind the scenes. Digitizing is the process of converting your approved 2D artwork into a machine-readable weave file that controls every single thread in the final label. Our digitizing technicians map each colour in your design to a specific thread colour, set the thread density (threads per centimetre), and define the weave pattern.

The digitizing process for a damask label with 8 colours typically takes 2-4 hours of skilled work. The technician must consider how different thread tensions will affect the appearance, ensure small text remains crisp, and balance colour density with label softness. A poorly digitized file results in fuzzy logos and illegible text — which is why we use experienced technicians rather than automated software for this critical step.

05

Jacquard Loom Setup & Weaving

With the digitized file ready, our production team loads it onto precision jacquard looms. These computerized looms control each warp and weft thread individually, enabling them to reproduce intricate patterns, fine typography, and multi-colour designs with remarkable accuracy.

Our looms support up to 12 thread colours per design and achieve thread counts of 80-120 threads per centimetre for damask labels. The weaving speed depends on the complexity: a simple 2-colour care label might weave at 800-1,000 labels per hour, while a detailed 8-colour brand label runs at 200-400 per hour. We run continuous quality checks during the weaving process, pulling samples every 500 pieces to verify colour consistency and detail reproduction.

06

Quality Control & Inspection

Quality is non-negotiable at Logo Weave. After weaving, every batch goes through a multi-point quality inspection process. Our QC team checks for colour accuracy against the approved sample, text legibility, weave density uniformity, and edge finishing quality.

We use standardized lighting conditions (D65 daylight) for colour evaluation and magnified inspection for fine detail. Labels with any defects — colour shifts, broken threads, misaligned patterns, or dimension variations beyond ±0.5mm — are rejected. Our target is a defect rate below 0.5%, and every shipment includes a QC tag certifying the inspection. If any batch fails inspection, we re-weave it at no extra cost or delay.

07

Finishing, Folding & Cutting

Once labels pass QC, they move to the finishing stage. This is where raw woven strips are transformed into individual, ready-to-sew labels. The finishing process varies based on your specification and application.

Common fold types include: Centre Fold (the label folds in half, creating a loop for sewing into a seam — ideal for neck labels), End Fold (both ends fold under, creating a flat label with finished edges — best for hem labels and visible branding), Mitre Fold (a 45° fold at the top, creating a book-fold effect — popular for premium garments), and Straight Cut (no fold, labels are cut and heat-sealed to prevent fraying — used for woven patches). We use ultrasonic cutting for clean, sealed edges that won't fray even after hundreds of washes.

08

Packaging & Pan-India Delivery

The final step is careful counting, bundling, and shipping. Labels are counted by machine, grouped into bundles of 100 or 500 (your preference), and packed in protective packaging to prevent damage during transit.

We ship to all pin codes across India via tracked courier services (Delhivery, DTDC, BlueDart). Standard delivery takes 2-4 business days from dispatch. For urgent orders, we offer same-day dispatch with overnight courier options for metro cities. Every shipment includes a tracking number shared via WhatsApp, so you always know exactly where your order is.
